g2 Design is a full service architectural firm based in the Lowcountry and specializing in custom residential homes.  We are a husband and wife team who enjoy working closely with our clients to create a home that fits their lifestyle and personality.  Our process is truly a team effort with everyone playing an important role.  

Michael is a registered architect with over 30 years of professional experience in all aspects of design, construction documentation, construction administration and project management.  He received his Bachelor of Architecture with Distinction from the University of Kansas in 1988 and joined RTKL Associates Inc., a large international architecture and design firm.  While at RTKL, Michael was promoted to the level of Associate Vice President and served as both project designer and project manager for multiple large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments, both domestic and international.  Michael left RTKL in 2002 to establish g2 Design.

Stephanie is a registered architect and licensed real estate broker-in-charge with over 25 years of professional experience in all aspects of project planning and design.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Design from Clemson University followed by her Masters of Architecture from Texas A&M University, and in 1996 joined RTKL Associates Inc, a large international architecture and design firm.  While at RTKL, Stephanie was promoted to the level of Associate and served as project designer for several large-scale commercial and mixed-use developments, both domestic and international. Stephanie left RTKL in 2002 to establish g2 Design, an architectural practice specializing in custom residential projects.  In 2011 Stephanie joined Palmetto Bluff, a high-end residential development in Bluffton, South Carolina, as Director of Design.
