Description:
This RTKL mall renovation project was about taking a mall built in the 70’s as a lower end retail center, and updating it for the times and for the new upscale demographic that had grown up around it. The design was based around a “garden party” storyline and used a minimal and modernist approach to the elements that fit within the existing shell. From the rich stone floor to the floating sky ceiling panels, this renovation adds bits of whimsy as you travel through the “breeze”, “water” and “arbor” wings.
